Golf Courses
We would like to thank all of those golf courses throughout America that participated in the first annual Tee It Up For The Troops Golf Tournament. This inaugural event was played on September 9th, 2005. With your involvement we made this event meaningful. The event was to raise funds for educational “Freedom Scholarships” for immediate family members of fallen and disabled service members who have courageously served our country.
The primary tournament was played at the Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights, MN on the 9th. However, we want to thank all of the courses for their kind generosity. Your cash donations and silent auction donations to your golf courses were greatly appreciated.
Tee It Up For The Troops, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to thank and assist our members of the Armed Forces and their families. This annual event is being networked for both state and national participation. Many clubs have committed to contribute 10% of the greens fees on the Firday closest to September 11th to the fund.
